Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By booking a reservation with NYC Car Service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services

NYC Car Service provides professional ground transportation services in the New York City metropolitan area and surrounding regions. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Airport transfers (JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Teterboro)
  • Point-to-point transportation
  • Hourly/as-directed service
  • Corporate transportation
  • Special event transportation

Reservations

Booking

Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or via email. All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.

Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation number from us. Please verify all details in your confirmation for accuracy.

Modifications

Changes to reservations should be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time when possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate last-minute changes but cannot guarantee availability.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ hours notice: No cancellation fee
  • 4-24 hours notice: 50% of fare
  • Less than 4 hours: 100% of fare
  • No-show: 100% of fare

For special events and holidays, more restrictive cancellation policies may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

Pricing and Payment

Rates

All rates are quoted in US dollars. Prices for airport transfers are fixed. Hourly rates are billed in minimum increments as stated at booking.

Additional Charges

The following may be billed in addition to the base fare:

  • Tolls (at cost)
  • Parking fees (at cost)
  • Wait time beyond included free time
  • Additional stops
  • Late-night/early-morning surcharges (if applicable)

Payment

We accept major credit cards. Corporate accounts may pay by invoice with approved credit terms. A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in our rates and is at the discretion of the passenger. Industry standard is 18-20% for excellent service.

Wait Time

Airport Pickups

We provide 60 minutes of complimentary wait time from your flight's actual arrival time for domestic flights and 90 minutes for international flights. Additional wait time is billed per the rate agreed upon at booking.

Non-Airport Pickups

We provide 15 minutes of complimentary wait time from the scheduled pickup time. Additional wait time is billed per the rate agreed upon at booking.

Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. We reserve the right to terminate service without refund if passengers:

  • Behave in a threatening or abusive manner
  • Damage the vehicle
  • Violate applicable laws
  • Smoke or vape in the vehicle
  • Transport illegal substances

Liability

NYC Car Service carries comprehensive insurance as required by law. Our liability for personal belongings left in vehicles is limited. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Flight Tracking

We track flights for airport pickups. Passengers are responsible for providing accurate flight information. We are not responsible for delays in pickup due to incorrect flight information.

Child Safety

Child car seats can be provided upon request. It is the passenger's responsibility to request appropriate child restraints and to properly secure children during transport.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in all vehicles at no additional charge. Please notify us at the time of booking.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
